LAWRENCE NAMED FCCAA STATE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
FCCAA Baseball Player of the Week Austin Lawrence, Santa Fe Freshman – 2B – Lake City, Fla.
Santa Fe College’s Austin Lawrence is this week’s FCCAA Baseball Player of the Week. Lawrence, a freshman second baseman from Lake City, Fla., batted .643 (9-for-14) over the Saints’ final three games. After picking up two hits in games against Lake-Sumter (April 19) and Daytona State (April 21), he finished the regular season with a 5-for-6 (three doubles), four-RBI outing against Central Florida on April 23. For the week, Lawrence scored seven runs and had four doubles and one triple.
