SF BASEBALL – April 19, 2012
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints hold a two game lead over the College of Central Florida in the race for the Mid-Florida Conference crown with two games to go, but the Patriots will try and chip away at the lead Friday, April 20 when they visit Gainesville for a 3:00 PM game.
A win by SF (35-11, 17-5 MFC) would secure the Saints fourth straight MFC title and the #1 seed at the FCSAA State Tournament. A Central Florida (30-16, 15-7 MFC) victory would push the race to the last day of the season on Saturday. Santa Fe hosts Daytona State on Saturday at 1:00 PM and CF travels to St. John’s River.
