World Humanities Expo Continues Through Nov. 16

The World Humanities Expo (WHE) is a week-long, student-centered, multi-disciplinary show of student research and creative projects in the humanities with local and outside speakers. This year’s WHE is underway and runs through Friday, Nov. 16. Events events inlcude the Student Project Gallery in R-01 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.), Student Speech competition 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Nov. 15, a Kid’s Expo and the Student Film Festival, as well as several engaging lectures throughout the Expo.

WHE’s mission is to feature the best of student research in a dynamic, multidimensional learning environment where the peak of student research and creativity can stimulate additional advances in critical and creative thinking and activity. The student projects are the culmination of semester-long efforts, presented in a variety of media and featuring strong research components from all Humanities and Foreign Language fields.
