Federal Work Study Position Available – Student Assistant in Student Life, Office of Civic Engagement & Service

The Office of Civic Engagement & Service (OCES) seeks a part-time Federal Work Study student assistant to work 10-15 hours per week. Duties include, but are not limited to, processing departmental paperwork; maintaining electronic databases/listservs, written logs and filing systems; research, planning and execution of engagement/service opportunities and events; assisting with related Student Life projects; providing back-up staffing for the Student Life front desk and assisting other Student Life offices and staff as needed.

Successful applicants must be self-motivated, possess a working knowledge of computers and general office equipment (copier, scanner, facsimile, etc.) as well as excellent written and oral communication skills, maintain confidentiality, be professional in demeanor and dress and be a courteous and reliable team player. A valid driver’s license is required.
