The Florida Retirement System is offering free financial planning workshops for FRS-covered employees via webcast.
The workshops will be held on Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22, and will be on the following topics:
- Tuesday, July 21, 10 a.m.-Noon ET – Using the FRS to Plan for Retirement
- Tuesday, July 21, 1-3 p.m. ET – Cash and Debt Management: Smart Spending and Saving for Retirement
- Wednesday, July 22, 10 a.m.-Noon ET – Nearing Retirement in the FRS
- Wednesday, July 22, 1-3 p.m. ET – Education Planning: Funding the Future
Employees wishing to register for these workshops should call 1-866-446-9377, Option 2, or go to MyFRS
(after login, select “Attend a Workshop”, then “WEBINAR” under the County drop down box, then the workshop they would like to attend).
Employees who sign up to attend an online workshop will receive details for logging in and participating a few days prior to the workshop.
