Santa Fe Professor Named President of Sigma Xi At UF

Santa Fe College Adjunct Professor, George H. Edwards, was installed as the President of the University of Florida Chapter of The Society of the Sigma Xi, the international research science honor society, at the Chapter’s annual meeting and banquet last Friday, March 25, 2016.  According to Edwards “This is the first time a Santa Fe College faculty member has served as President of the UF Chapter, and I plan to make the most of this opportunity to further strengthen the ties between Santa Fe College and UF.”

At the same meeting, Mr. James Weichold and Dr. Greg Mead, both professors in the Natural Sciences Department, were inducted into the Society as Full Members.
