The Santa Fe College Saints Fastpitch honored their sophomores on Saturday afternoon on a beautiful day in Gainesville, but it was Palm Beach who came away with the victories, defeating SF 8-0 and 11-3. The Panthers next stop is the FCSAA Tournament. The Saints end their season with a 21-33 overall record.
Palm Beach jumped on the Saints early in game one and finished off the six inning game 8-0. In game two the Saints kept pace until a late run by the tournament bound Panthers ended the game in the sixth inning 11-3.
Making their last appearance for the Saints were sophomores Sarah Ortiz, Ki Vega, Destiny Carroll, Chelsea Malcolm, Kayla Fernandez, Sydnee Smith, Brashell Keys, Brashella Keys, Keysha Gordon, and Lauren Bolander.
