Times Talk in Campus Library Lobby This Wednesday

D31AGKTimes Talks are open conversations about important and controversial issues in the news, and are part of Santa Fe College’s efforts to promote greater civic engagement on campus. They are an opportunity for students, faculty members, and other members of the college community to sit as equals and exchange views on important issues in a casual, informal, and civil environment. Times Talks are moderated each time by a volunteer faculty or student facilitator. These events provide a wonderful opportunity to participate in the sort of vigorous and engaging discussion of important issues that is needed in a democracy.

The next Times Talk will be Wednesday, March 18 at 1 p.m. in the Library Lobby. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The topic for this talk will be a living wage in Alachua County.
