Tuition-free Manufactured Construction Training Published on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016

Thanks to a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, Santa Fe College is able to offer free tuition for Training in Manufactured Construction (TRAMCON). TRAMCON offers a quality education that prepares students for a career in one of the fastest growing sectors of the construction industry. During the course of this yearlong program, students will have the opportunity to earn up to seven certificates including OSHA, NCCER and MSSC.TRAMCON

  • Students learn carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and manufacturing procedures.
  • Students can earn up to seven industry credentials upon completion of the program.
  • Job placement assistance will be provided during and after the program.
  • Employers are ready to hire immediately.

This program is funded by a $9.9 million TAACCCT grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration. Tuition is free, but students are responsible for the cost of books and testing.
