Gainesville, FL – Saturday was a tough day for the FCSAA #8 Santa Fe College Saints (12-7) in Gainesville as they dropped a pair of games, the first to Tallahassee CC and the second to Georgia Military College.
Tallahassee won a close game one, homering in the first and second innings to build a 3-1 lead. The Saints scored one in the fifth on a RBI single by Raeyle Rouw, but that’s all they would manage on the TCC pitching duo of Raya Moncus and Callie Paine.
Game two against Georgia Military was all Bulldogs. GMC scored three in the first and went on from there for six more to close out a 9-0 win.
The Saints will try and get back in the winning column on Wednesday, March 8 in Gainesville when they host Lincoln Land CC at 2 and 4 p.m.
