Gainesville, FL – The Mid-Florida Conference champion Santa Fe College Saints (18-10) have their opponent set for the first round of the FCSAA Tournament, they will meet Broward College in the first game of the FCSAA Tournament on March 8 at 1:00 PM in Ocala. The tournament is a single elimination. The second round will take place on March 10 and the FCSAA Championship game will be on March 11. Full Bracket. As many as three teams can qualify for the NJCAA Tournament.
FCSAA #7 Broward College reaches the tournament as the Southern Conference #3 seed. They defeated Florida State College at Jacksonville in the play in game to secure their bid.
The matchup will be the first this season between the Saints and Seahawks (21-5).
FCSAA #6 Santa Fe is led in scoring by Arianna Emanuel-Wright who averages 20.6 points per game. She was recently named the Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year. Broward is led by Nicole Jimenez, an 18.7 point per game scorer.
For fans attending the tournament, all games will take place at the College of Central Florida. Admission can be purchased per session for $10 for adults, $6 for students, or as for the entire tournament for $25 for adults and $15 for students. Children 3 and under are free. Tournament website.
