DILLON REED NAMED FCSAA/NJCAA REGION VIII PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gainesville, FL – NJCAA Region 8 Baseball Player of the Week:
Dillon Reed, Santa Fe College – Sophomore – LF Jacksonville, Fla.
Reed batted .588 (10-for-17), with six runs scored, one double, one home run and seven RBIs in four games during the voting period. He helped Santa Fe run its winning streak to six with a perfect 4-0 week in Mid-Florida Conference play. He had four consecutive multi-hit games – and also scored in each game – beginning with a 2-for-5 effort vs. Seminole State. Finished with eight hits (8-for-12) in a three-game set with Lake-Sumter State, including a pair of three-hit games and also drove in four runs in the series opener
