July 28, 2017 – The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the weekend and into early next week. A cold front will approach our area as early as Saturday afternoon with thunderstorms developing in the evening. The front is then expected to stall over the north central Florida area for several days, with numerous strong and severe thunderstorms. Sunday could see more than an inch of rain. There is the possibility of localized flooding in the area. The front is not expected to move northward out of the area until the middle of next week.
