August 22, 2017 – During Fall Convocation at Santa Fe College, the winners of the Excellence in Advisement Awards and the Advisor of the Year Award were announced. The winners were selected based on their commitment to excellence in advisement with respect to SF’s ideals of access, engagement and innovation. They put the students first, deliver quality service and are an asset to Santa Fe College.
Catherine Lawton was the winner of the Advisor of the Year award. Margaret Arenas and the entire Academic Advising staff were awarded the Excellence in Advising award for their dedication and hard work on behalf of SF students.
