Sept 22, 21017 – SF2UF Bridge Program presents the first lecture of the season. Dr. Peter Kima, Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology and Cell Science, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) at the University of Florida, will talk about his research and scientific life. His lab’s research focuses on the mechanisms by which intracellular pathogens evade immune detection since the capacity to evade immune detection is crucial for pathogenesis.
The lecture will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. in Building P, Room 131.
