Great American Smokeout at Santa Fe College

Great American Smokeout Friday, Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the S-Breezeway

November 16, 2017 – Santa Fe College Student Activities is partnering with Tobacco Free Florida to celebrate the Great American Smokeout Friday, Nov. 17, 2017. The Great American Smokeout is a national tobacco-free event sponsored by the American Cancer Society to encourage smokers to make a plan to quit the tobacco habit.

There will be a table set up in the S-breezeway Friday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. where if you or a loved one has been thinking about quitting smoking, information will be available on smoking cessation programs and more. There will be information about the dangers associated with tobacco use and support for smokers looking to kick the habit.

Because it will be going on during lunch, there will be pizza available too!

SF students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend and get the information and encouragement needed to quit smoking during the Great American Smokeout.
