Santa Fe College Spring Arts Festival — a 41-Year Tradition

Published: 8 Oct 2009, by: Jess Delaney

The 41st Spring Arts Festival will be held by Santa Fe College April 10-11, 2010 on historic NE 1st Street and the lawn of the Thomas Center, downtown Gainesville. Hours are 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday and noon-5:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free; rain or shine.

Spring Arts has a juried art show, continuous entertainment on two stages, and a Kids Art Jungle. As a joint attraction this year the SFC Teaching Zoo is open festival weekend. Visitors can plan a double destination in Gainesville-a family oriented art festival and a kid friendly zoo. Now there's twice as much fun at SFC!

Spring Arts was voted the top Florida art festival by readers of Florida Monthly magazine in 2008 and has been recognized as one of the top 20 events by the Southeast Tourism Society.
