Recovered from Summer B final exams and searching for a break before fall classes begin? Looking to get involved and make a difference? The Office of Civic Engagement and Service is sponsoring an Alternative Break trip to Pensacola, Aug. 16-19.
Two advisors and seven to nine students will embark on a journey of service as they assist various organizations with restoration and recovery projects. On the agenda is working on a home with Habitat For Humanity and helping the Bay Area Food Bank sort 40,000 pounds of food.
Applications are available at the front desk in S-147 and are due on or before Monday, Aug. 2. They can be returned either to the front desk in S-147 or to the Office of Civic Engagement and Service in S-154.
