Sold Out Women of Distinction Event Today

The Santa Fe College Women of Distinction luncheon is being held today, March 31, at 11:30 a.m. at the Best Western Grand in Gainesville. The sold out event is to honor the 2016 Women of Distinction and Woman of Promise. “One of the bedrocks of this institution is the acknowledgement of outstanding women leaders in our community,” stated Santa Fe President Jackson Sasser.

The Women of Distinction annual ceremony recognizes women who have demonstrated unique achievements in the arts, business, industry, science, environment, medicine, education, government, agriculture, humanities, and the list goes on. The honorees for the 2016 Women of Distinction are Grace L. Horvath, Bonnie Cameron, Susan Faulkner-O’Neal, and Gloria W. Fletcher. The honoree for the Woman of Promise is Victoria G. Denmark.
