Elizabeth Pineda Named the 2021 Career Service Council STAR Award Winner

June 21, 2021 – Each year, Santa Fe College’s Career Service Council recognizes an employee to show appreciation for the employee’s active service and achievements, to motivate all employees to continue good performance, loyalty to SF and dedication to Career Service staff. This employee needs to have exceptional performance in the areas of Service, Teamwork, Attitude, and Reliability (STAR). This remarkable staff member would have consistently excelled in their position, made outstanding contributions to the college in the area of customer service and is committed to the council and college community. They must also be dependable and trustworthy, as well as a notable team-player, actively promoting collaboration throughout Career Service and across campus working to improve the college, department and division all while steadily keeping a positive and forward-thinking attitude.

The 2021 STAR Award nominees included Palenthia Boswell, Deborah Ackerman, Christine Arnold, Jalena Camps, Liz Carter, Michelle Clark, Peggy Debow, Heather Domin, Tiffany Escobar, Brittney Frisina, Anne Millard, Rhonda Mott, Nancee Oftelie, Elizabeth Pineda, Mikayla Robinson, Lynn Speer, Christine Weeks, and Erica Weil.

The 2021 Career Service S.T.A.R. Award recipient is Ms. Elizabeth Pineda who is an Advisement Support Specialist for the Academic Advising Center.
