Matthew Jenkins made a significant impact on the mound with a 4.74 ERA and 60 strikeouts over 57 innings. Jenkins played in 16 games throughout the season, securing seven wins. Notably, in his second game for the Saints, Jenkins achieved a career-high eight strikeouts in just five innings.

Kevin Pazmino showcased his talents on the court, averaging 10.3 points per game and shooting just under 40% from the field. The redshirt-freshman played in 29 games, scoring a career-high 22 points against Polk State in late February. Pazmino is the first Men’s basketball player to transfer to Florida in over two decades.

“Both Matthew and Kevin exemplified what it means to be a Saint,” Santa Fe College Athletic Director Chanda Stebbins said. “We are thrilled to see them pursuing their athletic and academic careers at UF. We look forward to seeing them grow as both young adults and athletes.”
