July 29, 2024 – Visitors can enjoy the wonders of nature this summer at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo and Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. From Aug. 1 to 18, both attractions can be explored for the price of one.

During this special promotion, purchasing a full-priced ticket to either the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo or Kanapaha Botanical Gardens grants free admission to the other. This offer is ideal for nature lovers, families and anyone looking to experience Gainesville’s beautiful outdoor spaces.

Discover Natural Beauty

At the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo, visitors can see a variety of animals from around the world in a naturally shaded setting. They can also learn from zookeepers studying in the Zoo Animal Technology program. The zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, known for its stunning landscapes and diverse plant collections, offers a peaceful place to relax and connect with nature. The gardens are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
