Santa Fe College Bids Farewell to Dr. Jodi Long

July 29, 2024 – After over two decades of dedicated service to Santa Fe College, Dr. Jodi Long has been appointed as the new Vice President for Academic Affairs at Daytona State College. Her final day at Santa Fe College will be Thursday, Aug. 15.

In the upcoming weeks, efforts will be made by Dr. Broadie and the Academic Affairs leadership team to determine the optimal organizational structure moving forward considering Dr. Long’s departure. Updates on these decisions will be communicated in due course.

In acknowledging this significant career move, there is widespread gratitude for Dr. Long’s remarkable contributions to Santa Fe College. Her tenure has been marked by a blend of a positive attitude, effective leadership, and a pragmatic approach, all underpinned by a profound understanding of her work. These qualities have made a lasting impact on her students, colleagues and the community.

While this transition represents an exciting opportunity for Dr. Long, she will be greatly missed. Everyone is encouraged to extend their congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Long as she embarks on this new chapter.
