August 17, 2024 – Here’s some Santa Fe College news you might have missed:
- The Heritage Foods Symposium takes place Aug. 23: A day of free workshops and presentations will be held at the Santa Fe College Charles L. Blount Center, focusing on increasing access and expanding opportunities for small farms, farmers markets, gardens, and community education in Florida.
- Everyone is invited to support the Saints Volleyball team on Aug. 23: Fans are encouraged to wear SF gear and enjoy complimentary food.
- Guests aged 21 and over are invited to a special after-hours event at Brew at the Zoo: The event happens at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m.
- College Fair 2024 will feature more than 50 colleges and universities: At this free event, you can meet with representatives, learn about different programs, get financial aid information and more.
- The SF Achieve program seeks new mentors: Only full-time employees can serve as mentors.
- Santa Fe College welcomes Kim Liechty as its new Bookstore Manager: Liechty succeeds Mary Jane Mahoney who retired in June.
- Several SF offices will stay open evenings the week before and the first week of classes: Students may access the services provided by these offices in person, over the phone or using the various digital lobbies.
