August 23, 2024 – The Santa Fe College Police Department (SFPD) offers various services to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff.

Run, Hide, Fight

The college provides safety information through the SF Safety and Risk Management webpage, which includes the Emergency Procedures and a six-minute video titled “Run, Hide, Fight.” Prioritizing personal safety is essential. The video outlines the recommended actions to take in the event of an active shooter situation.

See Something, Say Something

The SFPD reminds the college community to report any suspicious activity. If any behavior suggests a potential for violence or poses a threat to anyone at SF or on SF property, it is important to dial 911 or contact the Santa Fe College Police Department immediately at 352-395-5555.

Safe Santa Fe App

The SFPD also recommends downloading the Safe Santa Fe app for emergency notices and other important safety information.
