September 3, 2024 – The Santa Fe Saints battled through a tough doubleheader over the weekend. In the first match, they faced Palm Beach State College, starting strong by winning the first two sets. However, Palm Beach rallied, defeating the Saints 3-2.
The Saints regrouped for their second match of the day against Indian River State College. This time, they emerged victorious in another intense five-set showdown, securing a 3-2 win.
“The weekend really tested our hearts and the will to keep fighting,” Saints Head Coach Bailey Coleman said. “It was a complete team effort to recoup from the loss and be confident going into the second match. We finished our first five-setter, and they left it all out on the floor.”
The 4-2 Saints will travel to St. Johns River State College on Sept. 4 to challenge the Vikings.
