September 25, 2024 – The Financial Aid Office is pleased to report that financial aid disbursements began as of Friday, Sept. 20. This is just a few days later than the originally published disbursement date. While disbursements have begun, more complex financial aid files may take additional time.
The college is closed Thursday and Friday due to the hurricane. With safety as a first priority, available Financial Aid staff will continue to process disbursements during the closure.
Disbursements involve releasing financial aid funds to a student’s account held by the Cashier’s Office. The funds are used to pay tuition, fees, and other charges, with any remaining credit balance refunded by the Cashier through BankMobile, the college’s official refund partner.
Students who have not already done so, must choose their refund preference with BankMobile, by selecting the Finances Menu in eSantaFe and clicking “Manage Refunds”.
Students can check the status of their disbursement through the Financial Aid Portal, by clicking each award in the “Financial Aid” menu.
