The District Board of Trustees once again approved the proposal for optional flex scheduling as described below:
- Summer Flex for 2015 is available from June 1 through August 7, 2015 with the exception of the week of June 28 through July 4, due to July 4th holiday.
- It applies only to 12-month employees.
- It is based on four ten-hour work days.
Suggested work plan options:
Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
With any day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday) off per week
Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
With any day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday) off per week
- Any combination of days and time that equal 40 hours, as approved by the appropriate department head and Human Resources, is acceptable.
- Supervisors may require employees to return to the regular workweek if this option is not serving students and the college in a favorable manner.
- Departments that are utilizing the Summer Flex Scheduling plan are asked to confirm participation to HR via email to carol.wilson@sfcollege.edu.
