SF Softball: SCF Takes Two from Santa Fe

February 10, 2018 – Gainesville, FL –  The State College of Florida got the best of Santa Fe College on Saturday afternoon in Gainesville, winning a pair of games 4-1 and 7-2.

In the first game the Saints took an early 1-0 lead but one bad inning in the fifth cost them four runs and the game.

Emily Yakel had the lone RBI for SF in the first half of the double header.  Kaylan Tucker pitched all seven innings in the circle for the Saints.

The Manatees took the lead early on in game two with a pair of runs in the first and never relinquished it, finishing off the win 7-2.

The victories move SCF to 10-2 on the year and the Saints fall to 8-5.

Santa Fe will be back at it on Sunday, February 11 against Eastern Florida State College at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
