August 22, 2024 – As Santa Fe College begins the fall term, it is important for everyone to be familiar with the parking regulations. Here’s a short overview:

  • Employee Parking: Those with an employee parking decal should park in any designated area except police, fire, or disabled parking spaces.

  • Student Parking: Students are permitted to park in lots with white-lined spaces. Blue-lined spaces are reserved for employees, and special permits are needed for Lots 1 and 1A.

  • Speed Limit: The campus speed limit is 20 mph.

  • Loading or Unloading: A permit from the SFPD is required for parking in a service drive for loading or unloading.

  • Bicycle Rules: Bicycle traffic is restricted to roadways open to motor vehicles. Bicycles should be secured at provided racks and should not be brought into buildings or chained elsewhere.

  • Non-Vehicular Transportation: Skateboards, roller skates, Segways, and other non-vehicular personal transportation devices are not allowed.
