SF Students Can Now Self-Schedule Success Coaching Appointments

September 12, 2024 – The Learning Commons at Santa Fe College has achieved a long-term goal by introducing a new self-scheduling system for academic success coaching. Students can now easily book appointments with success coaches through the same scheduler used for academic advising and writing tutoring.

To schedule an appointment, students can log in to eSantaFe and select the “Schedule Appointment” link. From there, they can choose the type of appointment—either in person or via Zoom—and view the availability of the Learning Commons success coaches. While drop-in service remains available, there has already been a strong response to the new self-scheduling feature.

This advancement is a significant step toward improving accessibility for students. Success coaches can help students:

  • manage test anxiety
  • build and maintain schedules
  • overcome procrastination
  • develop individualized plans
  • clarify academic and career goals
