AFC Fall Social

The Santa Fe College Chapter of the Association of Florida Colleges is organizing a Fall Social event. This gathering is scheduled for Thursday, September 28, from 4-6 p.m. at the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium on Santa Fe College’s Northwest Campus. This event aims to strengthen bonds among members, offer a space for networking, and expand their understanding of the wonders of our night skies.

Attendees will have the privilege of experiencing a night sky tour hosted by our esteemed planetarium director, James C. Albury. He will present “The Tale of Two Doggies,” the fascinating story of Orion’s two hunting dogs. He will also provide guidance on identifying them.

This event promises an educational treat and a fantastic opportunity to socialize with peers. Members are invited to attend and bring a prospective member as a guest. This is a chance for interested individuals to learn more about the association and engage with its current members. Light refreshments will be available.
