Civics Fair and National Voter Registration Day 2022

Student Life’s Civic Engagement and Service Office is hosting the annual Civics Fair on Tuesday, September 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the S-Breezeway. This even is a great opportunity for students to find civic engagement opportunities and learn more about their rights and responsibilities as a citizen.

The Civics Fair will feature a tabling expo with non-partisan civic groups, political organizations, local media, elected officials, and candidates for office. Students can find out about volunteer and internship opportunities with these groups.

September 20 is National Voter Registration Day, and the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections will be on-site to provide voter registration and answer questions about voting.

Political science professor Dr. David Price will host Civics Trivia throughout the event with prizes for the top winners.
