Planetarium: FREE Eclipse Viewing Event

Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing (Saturday, October 14, 2023)
Our community will get to experience a partial eclipse of the Sun on Saturday afternoon, October 14, 2023. The Kika Silva Pla Planetarium and the Alachua Astronomy Club will be hosting a free ‘Eclipse Viewing Event‘ between 11:30 am – 3:00 pm at the planetarium that day (weather permitting). Complimentary solar eclipse viewers will be available (while supplies last) during the weeks leading up to the solar eclipse.
