Tomorrow, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Santa Fe College Allied Health Programs will host an open house to promote enrollment in the Health Sciences Programs. Students will be able to gather information about certificate programs (many of which can be completed in six months), the Associate in Arts degree for transferring to a four-year university and the many two-year Associate in Science degrees for training to enter the workforce.![]()
The event will be held in various locations in building W and the W annex. Participants can begin their self-guided tour of the Programs in W-50. Anyone interested in a healthcare career is invited to attend.![]()

Today, the Sustainable Student Art Competition kicks off its 11th year of exciting and unique exhibits made by students that are composed almost entirely of reused, repurposed and recycled materials.![]()
“This is always a dynamic show featuring surprising themes and use of materials that would often be considered trash. It’s incredible to see the things that can be given a second life through the creativity of our students,” remarked Kyle Novak, art gallery manager.![]()
The exhibit will run from March 27 to April 7 in the Santa Fe College Gallery. A group of the Visual Art Faculty will judge the submitted work. We also have a “Viewer’s Choice” category where Gallery visitors choose their favorite piece.![]()
