Saints Select New Cheerleader Coach

Stephanie Basile has joined the Santa Fe Saints Cheerleaders as head coach.

Stephanie comes to SFC with both cheer and coaching experience. Born and raised in Melbourne, Fla., she cheered on competitive teams such as Johnson Junior High, Eau Gallie High School varsity (captain), and Extreme All-stars (Junior advance, Senior Co-ed advance, and five-women stunt group).

She also danced on competitive teams such as Dance Mania All-stars and a semi-pro basketball team, the Brevard Blue Ducks dance team. While living in Gainesville, she cheered for the competitive cheerleading team Florida Elite Adult All Girl squad.

Stephanie has coached competitive cheerleading from Pee-wee through Senior Co-ed level All-star along with competitive high school teams. She was also a tumbling instructor.

Stephanie graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Psychology. She is currently at SFC taking pre-requisite classes to apply to pharmacy college and is working for Shands on the cCardiac unit as a Cardiovascular Monitor Technician.

Stephanie is engaged and plans to get married in May 2010.

We are thrilled to have Stephanie join the squad! Her first day as “coach” will be Aug. 18 for tryouts.
