UF Homecoming is a local holiday — Friday, Oct. 6 — to allow all of Gainesville to turn out for the UF Homecoming Parade, which starts at noon. Why not watch the parade with your Santa Fe friends at a prime viewing location — SFC’s CIED center, right at NW 6th Street and University Avenue. There’s ample parking and a great view!
Santa Fe on Parade will be held at the Center for Innovation and Economic Development (CIED), 530 W. University Ave. Plenty of parking is reserved at t
he Blount Center’s DA Buildings and at the CIED; arrive early, since it will be first come, first serve.
Before the parade, enjoy free food and drinks (for the first 250 attendees), entertainment by the Hip Hop Collective and the Fine Arts Department, and face painting and a bounce house for children. The area in front of the CIED is reserved for Santa Fe students and staff to watch the parade.
