SANTA FE TAKES BOTH GAMES OF DOUBLEHEADER ON SATURDAY

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe College Saints gave up only one unearned run in two games on Saturday against Jacksonville Streamline – Silcox to pick up two wins and remain undefeated in the Fall. SFC won game one 4-0 and game two 5-1.

The Saints offense pounded out 15 hits in 11 innings. Venica Brown led the way by going 3-for-3 with two RBI. Following her was Gia Tomossone who hit .800 on the day with two RBI. Four other Santa Fe hitters had .500 averages on Saturday, Ashley Peterson, Jaimee Vega, Alexis Sowell and Ashley Curry, who also had two RBI.

Santa Fe returns to action next Saturday with two doubleheaders, the first against Jacksonville Streamline – Evans, starting at 9:00am and the second against Team Jax at 1:30pm.
