SFC Nursing Programs will undergo a national continuing accreditation site visit by the NLNAC (National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc.) for the Practical Nursing Program and the Associate of Science and Associate of Science Bridge Nursing Programs from Tuesday, Oct. 27 to Thursday, Oct. 29, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Four site visitors from four different schools from around the nation are reviewing the SFC Nursing Programs and speaking with school administrators, faculty, students, clinical agency representatives, former graduates, and the public.
A public forum is scheduled during the visit on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in WA-108.
The SFC Nursing Programs received full accreditation status for the past eight years in 2001 for these programs and looks forward to a repeated affirmation of the excellence of all aspects of the programs.
