The posters designed by Digital Media Technology students for Santa Fe’s Bradford Fest are currently showing at Joe’s Place, 5109 NW 39th Ave.

These designs competed to be selected as the commemorative poster for the event. The students also designed all collateral printed material.

The chosen poster was designed by Mike Posluszny.

The posters will be showing through Feb. 15. The Santa Fe College Bradford Fest will take place the weekend of Feb. 13-14 at the Bradford County Fairgrounds.

In these times of economic hardship, when many of our students are heroically struggling to complete their education, please support the local businesses that support our students.

The poster design, right, is by Hannah Farrell, a Graphic Design Technology student who is also interning for the SF College Relations department.

 

“Building Bridges Toward Higher Education” Jan. 23

Academic Foundations, in conjunction with the Florida Developmental Education Association (FDEA), is hosting a workshop and panel discussion for high school and college representatives to discuss SB 1908: Florida’s College and Career Readiness Initiative. Melinda Milles, FDOE Division of Community Colleges’ FDEA State Liaison and Coordinator of Teacher Preparation Programs, will be the featured speaker. The event will be held Saturday, Jan. 23 from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Please email Angela Mulkin if you need more information.
