Calling All Artists for Recycled Art Contest!

The Student Life Art Gallery will be holding a Sustainable Artwork Competition and Exhibit this upcoming fall and is looking for submissions. The goal of this exhibit is to promote sustainability through 2-D and 3-D art. We want artists to create an original piece using recycled, re-purposed, or reconstructed materials and/or portay their thoughts and impressions of sustainability through their work.

All pieces must be no larger than 24” x 36” and no more than 6” deep, must be able to be wall mounted/hung, and must be submitted installation-ready. A complete list of guidelines and deadlines can be found in this Call for Art.

This competition and exhibit is open to all current SF students, faculty and staff.

In order to give both Spring and Summer students an opportunity to submit, we have two calls for entries.

  • 1st Call: 11 a.m. Friday, April 23 in S-147
  • 2nd Call: 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23 in S-147

Please bring your artwork and the completed entry form to either of the calls.
