Operation CarePak2 is Santa Fe’s support of a Special Forces unit deployed from Camp Blanding to Afghanistan, specifically, for 400 soldiers in four companies, the 3/20th Special Forces group of the Florida Army National Guard. The soldiers were deployed in August and are due to return in spring 2011. These same soldiers previously served in Afghanistan in 2002-2003 and in Iraq in 2006-2007. Family-size personal care items requested, and a complete list of items and drop off location may be found at the Operation CarePak website.
