GREEN, SAINTS CRUISE PAST BREVARD CC, 72-45
Ocala, FL – Jazmyne Green scored a season high 19 points to lead the FCCAA #9 Santa Fe Saints (3-4) past Brevard CC on Friday night at the Central Florida Shootout in Ocala, breaking a three game losing streak. SF led 36-23 at the half.
Kristien Malone added 17 points and seven rebounds, Stephenie Coney scored 10, Leandra Kings pulled down ten rebounds and Stephanie Edwards added 10 assists and five steals.
“I was proud of our energy and effort today,” said SF coach Chanda Stebbins. “I really liked our unselfish play. We had great contributions from everyone.”
The Saints continue in the Central Florida Shootout on Saturday, November 20 at 4:00pm when they take on Miami Dade College. They wrap up the tournament on Sunday against Broward College at 2:00pm.
