Please join Relay for Life for our 2010 Backstage Holiday Mixer on Thursday, Dec. 9 in S-29/30. The doors open at 6 p.m. and we will commence at 6:30 p.m. We’ll have food, music and a great time! This will be a laid-back session to answer any questions you may have. We’ll be focusing on luminaria, survivors, and online registration/fundraising. Come on out to meet other members of the 2011 Relay for Life Event and share ideas and just have a good time!
Make the holidays cheerier for families touched by cancer!
As part of the meeting we will be taking donations for the parents of the children undergoing cancer treatment at the Ronald McDonald House here in Gainesville who will not be able to make it home for the holidays. The children are given lots of gifts this time of year, but their parents often are overlooked. Monetary donations as well anything else you think would be appropriate will be accepted. Remember, even $5 will go a long way toward making this a happier, more comfortable holiday season for families touched by cancer.
