“I’m disappointed that the college did not even make a mention in today’s Daily that today is Pearl Harbor Day,” said Janet Foster in a Dec. 7 email to Today@Santa Fe.
“I wish more of us young folks would take a few moments to remember our WW II veterans and their wives/families, who sacrificed greatly for their country. Two of those people are my dear, precious parents: Bill and Pat Foster. I love them both and appreciate those in their generation who taught us many good lessons. Our nursing homes are full of dying WW II vets. They are worthy to be remembered.”
