BIG SATURDAY ON DECK FOR SANTA FE ATHLETICS
Gainesville, FL – All four Santa Fe College teams will be in action at home on Saturday, February 19 with the baseball team starting things off at 12:00 PM against Rend Lake College. The fastpitch team takes on South Florida CC in a double header starting at 1:00 PM.
Women’s basketball has a lot on the line when they host Hillsborough CC at 2:00 PM in their last regular season game of the year. With a win, the Saints would clinch their third consecutive Mid-Florida Conference title and a #1 seed in the FCCAA State Tournament. An SF loss would give the MFC title to Daytona State.
The Santa Fe men wrap things up at 4:00 PM against St. John’s River State College in the last regular season game of the season. Regardless of the outcome, the men will move on to face Daytona State in the first round of the MFC Tournament on Monday, February 21 in Daytona at 7:00 PM. The winner moves to play at SJRSC for the right to play in the FCCAA State Tournament.
