Join the drive to eradicate lung cancer at the second annual Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation 5K Walk/Run!
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in both men and women, yet, partially because of the stigma of cigarette smoking, has far less funding for research than other forms of cancer. Astoundingly, the fastest growing group of lung cancer patients is young women, below the age of 40, who have no known risk factors, including smoking.
So join us in taking the next step towards a cure of this scourge during a festive and inspirational event as we walk/run with current lung cancer survivors.
Participants may register at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at the North Florida Regional Medical Center.
