Recent SF grad, Mattie J. Rush, is collecting school supplies for a school in Kokrobite, Ghana, where pencils and pens are in high demand. She wants to give back to the community, where she spent time for a Sociology class last summer.
She has collected educational supplies all of this last year and now has a suitcase full of supplies to send with the classes that will be going this year.
Next Tuesday, May 17, Dr. Heidi Lannon will lead the Study Abroad program to Ghana and deliver the supplies that Mattie has been collecting.
