Jessa Carpenter of the Office of Civic Engagement and Service and Katey Arnold, Academic Chair, Mathematics, are leading the charge to raise $3,000 for donation to the UA Acts of Kindness Fund, which gives grants to University of Alabama students, faculty and staff impacted by the April 27 tornado that leveled a 1-mile-wide path through 6 miles of downtown Tuscaloosa.
Even though the tornado was months ago, people are still working to clear debris and recover from the damage. You can donate to the fund online at http://sfcollegefoundation.org/ and click “Donate Now.”
