Found An Item? Please Take it to the Police Department, Pronto

If you find something, or if a student turns in a found item to your unit or office, please take it to the Police Department the same day. We are having a problem with people storing “found” items and then bringing a box — weeks! months later! — to the Police Department. Since items are catalogued by the date they are turned in, the dates need to correlate with when the item was lost for them to be reunited with their owners. So, please take items directly up to the Police Department on the day you acquire them so that more of our students get their personal items back. Thanks!
